Alexei Vasilchenko

Alexei Alexandrovich Wassiltschenko (Russian Алексей Александрович Васильченко; born March 29, 1981 in Ust- Kamenogorsk, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League since 2011.

Career

Alexei Wassiltschenko began his career as a hockey player with Kaszink - Torpedo Ust- Kamenogorsk, for which he made ​​his debut in the Kazakh Hockey Championship was in the 2000 /01 season and immediately won the national championship. In the following season the defender ran with torpedo in the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league on. Internationally

For Wassiltschenko Kazakhstan took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 2000 and 2001 at junior level. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 2001, 2002 and 2011, and at the A World Championships in 2005 and 2010. Moreover, he represented Kazakhstan at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
