Alexey Nikolayevich Titov

Alexei Nikolayevich Titov (born 12 Julijul / July 23 1769greg in Saint Petersburg, .. .. † 8 Novemberjul / November 20 1827greg ) was a Russian composer.

The Major General of the Guard cavalry and son of the composer Nikolai Titov worked in St. Petersburg as a successful opera composer. Except about twenty operas he composed ballets and melodramas. Also by his brother Sergei Titov several operas have survived.

Alexei Titov was the father of the composer Nikolai and Mikhail Titov.
