Alexis Cruz
Alexis Cruz ( born September 29, 1974 in Bronx, New York City ) is an American actor.
Life
Alexis Cruz was born on September 29, 1974 in Bronx, New York City. His theater experience includes national tours with Latinologues. He is also a graduate of New York's High School of Performing Arts. Making his first appearance in front of the camera he had with an advertisement for Mackaroni and Cheese.
His breakthrough as a film actor Alexis Cruz scored for his role in the movie Stargate, in which he played the young rebels SKAARA. He took the role of the character later in the series sequel Stargate - Kommando SG -1 back on.
Alexis Cruz has also worked in other series: in the legal drama Shark, he was seen as a young district attorney Martin Allende and in Touched by an Angel he played the angel Raphael. Among others, he has guest starred in The District, CSI and in the very early years of Sesame Street.
For his role in the fatal shots in the classroom, he was nominated for an American Latino Media Arts Award for Best Actor.
Alexis Cruz is a resident of Los Angeles today.
