Alexis FitzGerald, Jnr

FitzGerald was a member of the City Council of Dublin and held as such from June 1981 to June 1982, the Office of the Mayor of (Lord Mayor of Dublin). He also belonged from 1981 to 1982 Seanad Éireann on the 15th and then sat, during the year 1982, in the 23rd Dáil Éireann. In the 1982 elections to the 24th Dáil Éireann, he could not defend his position. From 1983 to 1987 he was again in the Seanad Éireann. FitzGerald retired from politics since then and was again active in the real estate business.
