Alfa Laval

Alfa Laval AB is a listed manufacturer of products for the separation, heat transfer and production of fluids with headquarters in Lund / Sweden.

The company had its origin in 1883 when Gustaf de Laval and Oscar Lamm " AB Separator " founded, the separators produced. 1963, the name was changed to Alfa Laval. Between 1991 and 2000 Alfa Laval was a part of Tetra Pak, which was to bear the name Tetra Laval in 1993. With the acquisition by Tetra Pak, the Alfa Laval Agri is a private company that in 1993 the name DeLaval, in reference to the name of the founder, received. In 2000 was purchased from Alfa Laval private equity fund Industri Kapital, DeLaval remained in the Tetra Laval Group. In 2002 the company was floated on the stock exchange.

The company is part of the OMX Stockholm 30 Index.
