Alfa Romeo 2600 is the model designation for a manufactured from early 1961 until the fall of 1969 series of passenger cars in the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo.

History

The 2600 models were the successors of the series Alfa Romeo 2000. Wished at that time, the market for the relatively heavy 2000s a higher engine power. The body of the predecessor has been changed slightly to create especially room for the bigger engine.

Technology

The engine was upgraded with a new six-cylinder with aluminum block, 2584 cc, 145 hp ( Berlina: 130 hp ), two overhead camshafts, three carburetor ( Sedan only two).
