Alfaro, La Rioja
Alfaro is a small town in Spain, in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja.
The place is known as the world capital of storks, since breed on the cathedral every summer over 100 pairs of storks.
In the time of the Civil War was in Alfaro a airfield of the National Spaniards, the bombers of the Kampfgruppe 88 ( K/88 ) of the German Condor Legion in particular during the Battle of Teruel and Aragon offensive used.
