Alfons Julen

Alphonse Julen (* February 20, 1898, † unknown) from Zermatt was a Swiss cross-country skier.

At the Olympic Winter Games in 1924, he was a soldier member of the Swiss team (car number 43) in the military patrol run that won the gold medal in this discipline. With in the team was also his brother Antoine Julen. The military patrol run was subsequently declared in 1926 for demonstration competition. He also took at the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 in part on the 18 - km cross-country ski, but had to quit the race.
