Alfonso Menéndez

Alfonso Menéndez Vallín ( born May 31, 1966 in Avilés ) is a Spanish Archer, the 1992 Olympic champion.

Alfonso Menéndez took only 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games in part. There, the Spanish team with Juan Holgado, Antonio Vázquez and Alfonso Menéndez was surprisingly reached the final in front of a home crowd. In the final, the Spanish team beat the Finns, and won the gold medal. In the individual competition Menéndez had the 42nd -ranked.
