Alfred B. Kittredge

Alfred Beard Kittredge ( born March 28, 1861 in Nelson, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; † May 4, 1911 in Hot Springs, Arkansas ) was an American politician ( Republican), who represented the state of South Dakota in the U.S. Senate.

After attending the public schools continued Alfred Kittredge his education at Yale University continue. He took his degree there in 1882 and 1885 was his law degree from the Law School at Yale, after which he was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Sioux Falls, the largest city of South Dakota. After the death of U.S. Senator James H. Kyle Kittredge was appointed to succeed him in Congress in Washington. He took his mandate from the July 11, 1901 true and decided the following election for themselves, as the re-election in 1903. Upon expiry of this term, he applied unsuccessfully for re- nomination by his party, which instead went to Coe I. Crawford. As a result, he again worked as a lawyer.
