Alfred Beck

Alfred (called " Coppi " ) Beck ( born April 12, 1925 in Immelborn; † September 1994 ) was a German football player.

Career

Association

The emerged from the Thuringian SV Weida Alfred Beck landed after his return from British captivity in Bremen. When Bremer SV he came in the Oberliga Nord from 1947 to 1949 in 23 games with 15 goals. In the summer of 1949, the Left Wing moved to FC St. Pauli.

There he remained until 1955; for the Elf from Millerntorplatz he entered the league in 155 meetings and met 45 times into the opposing goal. From 1955 to 1958 he played for the Wuppertal SV in the Oberliga West and scored 22 goals in 66 games. After the descent of Wuppertal, he moved to Switzerland. His active career, he decided at FC Zurich and FC Thun. He then worked as a trainer in Switzerland - including 1962-1965 at FC Aarau and 1969/70 FC Baden - where he also spent his twilight years.

National

In December 1954, he was the international game at Wembley the German National Dress and shot at 1:3 against England consolation goal.
