Alfred Bohrmann

Alfred Bohrmann (* February 28, 1904; † 4 January 2000) was a German astronomer.

Life

He received his doctorate in 1927 at the Heidelberg State Observatory King chair of the University of Heidelberg.

At this time the observatory was a center of asteroid discovery by Max Wolf and Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth, then discovered Bohrmann around nine asteroids.

Bohrmann worked at the Observatory of 1924 until 1969. The asteroid 1635 Bohrmann, according to him, the asteroid 1732 Heike after one of his granddaughters ( Heike Neckel ) named
