Alfred Guillaume

Alfred Guillaume (* 1888, † 1965) was an Islamic scholar, orientalist, scholar of religion and ordained Anglican priest. He is the translator of Ibn Ishaq's " Sirat Rasul Allah" (The Life of the Prophet Mohammed ), the earliest and most important historical source of information about the life of Muhammad. He taught at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
