Alfred J. Gross

Alfred Gross studied electrical engineering at the Case School of Applied Sciences. After the invention of the hand-held radio equipment by the Canadian Donald Hing he found a way to reduce this time still operated with electron tubes and devices to operate them in the upper VHF range.

After the Second World War he produced, among other things, the first devices for CB radio and invented the pager.
