The Alfred - Kunze- Sportpark is the home of the SG Sachsen Leipzig ( Saxony Wernesgrüner League ) as the main tenant and the BSG Chemie Leipzig (district League Season North ) as a sub- tenant of the city of Leipzig. In 1919 the then independent municipality Leutzsch planned the construction of a sports complex with an area of ​​36 410 m².
