Alfred Probst

Alfred Probst (* 1894, † unknown) was a Swiss rower who won two Olympic medals.

At the European Championships in 1923 in Como Emile Albrecht, Richard Frey, Alfred Probst, Eugen Sigg and Hans Steiger won the coxed four.

At the Olympic Games in 1924 on the Seine at Argenteuil Emile Albrecht, Alfred Probst, Eugen Sigg and Hans Walter won the bronze medal in coxless four. In the four with coxswain steered Fritz Loosli the four rowers to the final, there then sat Émile Lachapelle for Loosli in the boat that won the gold medal.

At the European Championships 1925 in Prague won the Swiss coxless four with Kurt Pfeiffer, Alfred Probst, Hermann Haller and Arthur Dreyfus and won the first European Championship title at all in this boat class.

Probst started for the Rowing Club Lausanne.
