Alfredo Niceforo
Alfredo Niceforo ( born January 23, 1876 in Castiglione di Sicilia, Catania, † 2 March 1960 in Rome ) was an Italian sociologist and criminologist.
Niceforo taught anthropology and sociology at the Universities of Lausanne and Brussels, was 1919/20, a professor of sociology at the Sorbonne from 1920 to 1931 professor of statistics at the University of Naples and since 1931 Professor of Criminology at the University of Rome. - Niceforo was a supporter of the views of Cesare Lombroso said crime so biologically.
