Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation

The Alfried Krupp von Bohlen and Halbach Foundation manages the former family wealth and legacy of the Krupp family. It was founded by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach. With his death on July 30, 1967 all of its assets was transferred to the foundation he built, which started its activities on 1 January 1968.

Stock shares

The Foundation is the largest single owner of a block of shares of ThyssenKrupp AG and participates with a share of 23.03% in the share capital since 2008. The value of the stock package is approximately € 2.12 billion ( December 2012).
