Algemene Bank Nederland

The Algemene Bank Nederland ( ABN ) was a Dutch bank from 1964 to 1991. You came in October 1964 from the merger of the Dutch trading company and the Twentsche Bank. In December 1967, the Hollandse Bank Unie was ( HBU ), and adopted their strong South American business. In the late 1970s, the LaSalle National Bank ( LNB) was adopted, which is the sixth largest bank in Chicago was in 1979 and employed 700 people. In 1991 it merged with the AMRO Bank ( Amsterdamsche Rotterdamsche Bank) to global ABN AMRO.
