Alhazen (crater)

Alhazen is an impact crater near the eastern edge on the front side of the Moon. It is connected by a low ridge to the crater Hansen in the south- southeast. In the West, the Mare Crisium extends.

Alhazen is almost circular, appears out of the ground due to optical distortion but strong oval. The inner crater walls and floor are ridged and irregular.
