Ali Abunimah
Ali Hasan Abunimah ( born December 29, 1971 in Washington DC ) is a Palestinian- American journalist.
Life
Abunimahs mother is originally from Lifta near Jerusalem and became a refugee in 1948. His father is from Battir, a village in the West Bank; he was a Jordanian diplomat who served as the envoy of the United Nations. Abunimah is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Chicago and a frequent commentator on the Middle East. He regularly posts created for the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times.
He is co- founder of the Electronic Intifada (see also: Intifada ), a pro-Palestinian lobby group, indicating an alleged " pro-Israeli flip side in the American mainstream media " to counter by offering " information from a Palestinian perspective." In addition, he was Vice - President of the Arab American Action Network. He lives in Chicago, Illinois.
Abunimah is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign.
Publications
