Ali Güneş

Ali Mehmet Güneş ( born November 23, 1978 in Donaueschingen ) is a former born in Germany of Turkish football player.

Güneş in 1996 for SC Freiburg, earlier, he had played in the youth department of FC 08 Villingen, the FV Donaueschingen and FC Braeunlingen. 1998 moved the midfielder in the professional squad in Freiburg on, was in his first season starting players and came to 32 inserts ( 4 goals). In the following season Güneş lost after the 10th Round his place. After only two appearances in the second half of the season 1999/2000, the Turkish youth international left the SCF and moved to Fenerbahce.

With Fener he won in both 2001 and 2004, the Turkish championship. In 2004 he moved free transfer to Premier League rivals Beşiktaş Istanbul, with whom he was in 2006 Turkish Cup winners. Ali Güneş joined the 2007/08 season free transfer back to SC Freiburg. On June 15, 2009 and 2010 current contract was terminated by mutual agreement. In the season 2009/10 played Güneş for Kasımpaşa Istanbul. End of August 2010, he was presented as a gain when Süperlig - Up Bucaspor, released his contract there but after two league operations in December 2010 again.

For the Turkish national Güneş had in May 2004 in a friendly against Australia (final score 3-1 ) his only international appearance. He was nominated four times total for the Turkish national team. With the U-21 national team he participated at the 2000 U-21 European Championship in part.
