Ali (Rapper)

Ali (* 1972; actually Ali Jones) is an American rapper from St. Louis.

Career

Along with Nelly, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, City Spud and Slo'Down he was co-founder in 1993 of the Rapformation St. Lunatics. Ali is often heard on the solo album of Nelly as a guest musician.

In 2002, Ali released under the title Heavy Startch his solo debut.

In 2007 he brought out the album with the band name Kinfolk with Goodie Mob member Big Gipp.

Ali is at Nelly's Derrty ENT Label, a sub-label of Universal.
