Alice Mizzau

Alice Mizzau ( born March 18, 1993, Udine) is an Italian swimmer from Friuli - Venezia Giulia. Previously she lived in Beano di Codroipo in Friuli- Venezia Giulia. Currently she lives and trains in San Marino under the direction of her coach Max di Mito. Since December 2011 she is a member of the club Fiamme Gialle.

Achievements

Mizzau specializes in freestyle. In the Junior European Swimming Championships 2009 Alice Mizzau won the 4x100 m freestyle silver in the relay. In the Italian Championship, she won several medals: one gold, four silver and two bronze in the relay and in the individual race. The young athlete was able to win three medals at the European Championships in Debrecen in 2012: Gold in the relay 4x200 m freestyle, silver in the 4x100 m medley and bronze in the relay 4x100 m freestyle. In the individual race they finished fourth and missed so narrowly the podium.

She qualified for the Olympic Games in London in 2012, where they took the 4x200 m freestyle in the relay 4x100 m freestyle and the relay. There they presented the Italian record in the 4x100 relay with Federica Pellegrini, Laura Letrari and Erika Ferraioli on with a time of 3'39 " 74, so that it occupied the 12th place.
