Alice Pruvot -Fol (* August 4, 1873 in Saint- Aignan ( Loir -et- Cher), † March 28, 1972 in Paris) born Fol, was a French Malakologin, which dealt especially with the opisthobranch ( Opisthobranchia ).

Life

Your spouse was Georges Florentin Pruvot. Both were married in 1926. They had two sons and a daughter. She described many new species, some only as samples in this case. They have, for example, a new type ( Nembrotha rutilans, Pruvot -Fol, 1931) solely on the basis of a painted representation in a book by William Saville -Kent (1893 ), entitled The Great Barrier Reef ( 1893) in Australia described.

She worked on the naming of new species into old age.
