Alien Nation is an American science fiction series based on the movie Alien Nation - 1991 based Spacecop LA 1988.

Action

In 1991: Three years ago, stranded in the Mojave Desert in Southern California, an unidentified flying object, which, as it turned out, came from the planet Tencton. On board were about 250,000 aliens who asked the U.S. government for asylum in order after years of captivity finally be able to live in freedom.

Meanwhile, the normality has set and the so-called newcomers are now part of normal cityscape of Los Angeles. There the man Matthew Sikes and George Francisco Tenctone form an unlikely team to the police. Not only is the Slags Sikes, as the aliens are called derogatory, critical. Media

In addition to the soundtrack on CD published in English eight novels and several comic book series, including the short-lived series Ape Nation, a crossover with Planet of the apes. The series has since been released on DVD, in Germany it is, however, refer to only as an import. Only the five subsequent television movies are available on videocassette or DVD in German.

Broadcast

The German premiere of Alien Nation was at Sat.1 Thursday around 23.00 clock. The first and so far last rep took place from March to August 1996, kabel eins, whereby the Sat.1 rendered helpless slaves episode was first shown. Only the developed later TV movies are repeated regularly since July 1998 on VOX or ProSieben.
