Alifa Rifaat
Alifa Rifaat (Arabic أليفة رفعت, DMG Alifa Rif ʿ at, * 1930 in Cairo, † 1996) was an Egyptian writer.
She describes in her stories destinies of Egyptian girls and women in a patriarchal society.
