Alingar District

For Alingar district in Laghman province has about 60 villages in four main valleys, where predominantly Pashtuns, Tajiks and Pashaien live. The district is located approximately 27 km from the provincial capital Mehtarlam away, bordering the districts Alishing and Dawlat Shah in the west, Nuristan province in the north, Nangarhar Kunar and in the East and the districts Quarghaee and Mihtarlam in the south.
