Alire Raffeneau-Delile

Alire Raffeneau - Delile ( born January 23, 1778 in Versailles, † July 5, 1850 in Paris) was a French botanist and physician. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Delile ".

Alire Raffeneau Delile documented Napoleon's Egyptian campaign botany and later became director of the botanical garden of Montpellier.
