Alireza Heidari

Alireza Heidari, Persian عليرضا حيدری, ( born March 4, 1976 in Tehran ) is an Iranian Freestyle wrestler and participants at the Summer Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney and 2004 in Athens.

Alireza Heidari is considered one of the best Iranian wrestler of all time.

While in Sydney, he missed a medal at the 2000 Olympics and finished sixth, he won the bronze medal at the Athens Games in the "heavyweight (96 kg) ."

The Iranian exceptional athlete won a World Championship, three World Cups, four Asian Games, the Asian Games three times, once the World Military Games and two World University Championships. This performance places it among the most successful Iranian freestyle wrestlers of all time.

Alireza Heidari has successfully completed his studies in Law in addition to his sporting achievements.
