Alissos

Alissos (Greek Αλισσός ( m. sg. ) ) Is a village in the region of Western Greece, about 20 km in the southwest of Patras. The nearest villages are Kato Achaia to the west and Kaminia in the Northeast. The village is located about 600 m south of highway 9 Alissos had from 1991 to 2001 a decline in population from 1,073 to 586 recorded.

The community of Alissos in the municipality Dymi the community Dytiki Achaia include the towns Kamenitsa, Paralia Alissou and Profitis Elisseos.
