Aliya Mustafina

Aliya Mustafina Fargatowna (Russian Алия Фаргатовна Мустафина; born September 30, 1994 Egoryevsk ) is a Russian gymnast. My home club is the CSKA Moscow. Her father, the former world-class wrestler Farhat Mustafin, is their counselor.

At the World Championships 2010 in Rotterdam, she won the gold medal in the all around and gold in the team all-around with the Russian national team. At the jump, floor and uneven bars, she won the silver medal each.

At the European Championships 2011 in Berlin, she pulled in the all around finals a knee injury and had to retire from the competition.

At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London Mustafina won four medals - more than any other participants in the competition gym. She became Olympic Champion on the uneven bars, finished behind the Americans inside the Silver rank with the team and won in the all around and on the ground each bronze.

The World Gymnastics Championships 2013 in Antwerp Mustafina won the balance beam final and finished third in the uneven bars final third. In the all-around finals she reached number three.
