Aliza Olmert

Aliza Olmert (Hebrew עליזה אולמרט; * 1946 in Eschwege, Hesse ) is an Israeli sculptor and writer.

Aliza Olmert was born in a DP camp in Eschwege in northern Hesse. Her parents were survivors of the Holocaust.

Aliza Olmert has written plays and screenplays and is one of the most renowned visual artists of Israel. It is equipped with Ehud Olmert, the former Israeli prime minister, married and the mother of four children.

She is Chair of several children's charities, is committed to the needs of young people, stands up for human rights organizations.

In autumn 2007, Olmert appeared embossed autobiographical debut novel " A piece from the sea " in the Aufbau-Verlag Berlin.
