Alkaline Trio
The Alkaline Trio is a Founded in 1996, American punk band from Chicago, Illinois.
Band History
The band was founded in December 1996 and today consists of Matt Skiba (guitar and vocals ), Daniel Andriano (bass and vocals) and Derek Grant ( drums and vocals ). Their first album Goddamnit was taken in 1998 with the record label Asian Man Records. There also the successor and three EPs appeared. In 2000, the band also brought out a collection of their EPs in the form of the album The Alkaline Trio. In 2001, Alkaline Trio to Vagrant Records. There the albums From Here to Infirmary, Good Mourning and Crimson were recorded in collaboration with producer Jerry Finn.
2006 left the band Vagrant, the sixth album should be recorded for V2 Records in 2007; as V2 but ran into financial difficulties and all the artist has released from their contracts, longer time was uncertain where this album will be released. End of May 2007 was the Alkaline Trio switching to Epic Records, a Sony BMG sub-label, known. In July 2008, the sixth studio album Agony and Irony appeared. With number 13 the band with their major label debut, was able to achieve the best result so far in the American album charts. In the same year the company Nike brought an Alkaline Trio shoe on the market. On 23 February 2010 their seventh studio album was released titled This Addiction. The eponymous single with an accompanying video was released in early February 2010.
On 12 July 2011 Damnesia was released, a compilation of older songs that were re-recorded as acoustic versions, and two new songs.

The Alkaline Trio is also represented on the CD Rock Against Bush Volume I with the song Warbrain.
The song Wash Away ( a TSOL cover ) was used in the game Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. Moreover, even were Armageddon ( in Tony Hawk's Underground) and Mercy Me and case Victim used ( in FlatOut 2 ) for games.
