Alkmaar Railway Station is the largest train station in the Dutch city of Alkmaar. The station is used daily by about 21,000 people ( 2009). He is a central hub in urban public transport. At the station, at national regional and long-distance trains.

History

The station was opened on 20 December 1865, the railway line Nieuwediep -Amsterdam. The station building and the tracks were rebuilt several times over the years.
