Reviews
Philip Marchand wrote in the Toronto Star newspaper of 25 January 2008, Brad Smith follow the familiar formula with " utmost precision ". The plot is still "reasonably convincing" and the pace " tight ". The story is so "thin" as a result of a TV series ("The only problem is did the story feels slight - more like a prolonged episode of a television series than material for a full-blown movie" ).
David Nusair wrote on Reel Film Reviews, the film offers impressive views and sometimes breathtaking camera work, but it would be missing something, which could maintain the viewer's interest for more than a few minutes at a time. The act was designed to " wound ", the characters are too little. Kirby's representation was effective, what would, however, negate the weaknesses of the unconvincing character.
Background
The film was shot in Alliston (Ontario), in Fort Erie ( Ontario) and in Hamilton (Ontario). Its production costs amounted to an estimated 5 million Canadian dollars. On 11 September 2007 the film at the Toronto International Film Festival was shown, which was followed by several other film festivals. In the United States, he was brought in 2008 in a movie theater and otherwise released on DVD.
