All Summer Long is the title of the sixth, published on July 1, 1964 album by the Beach Boys.
Genesis
All Summer Long is the last studio album of the band before Brian Wilson retired from touring, and also the last before his nervous breakdown.
The album is like its predecessors, a kind of concept album. Negotiated the first albums mostly from surfing and Little Deuce Coupe of automobiles, All Summer Long treated the California lifestyle in general.
This second published after the advent of Beatlemania Beach Boys LP got to # 4 on the U.S. Billboard charts and contains with I Get Around also the song that could displace the Beatles as the first of No. 1 on the U.S. singles chart.
The album earned ten new Brian Wilson compositions, also with Hushabye a cover and present with Our Favorite Recording Sessions a humorous intentioned attempt to work in the studio.

Little Honda was originally planned as the second single. Brian Wilson, however, soon left the courage, because he was not convinced of the hit potential of this piece after a criticism. So the Beach Boys not published the song as a single, but on the EP Four by The Beach Boys, the four pieces contains ( A-side: . Little Honda / Wendy B-side: Do not Back Down / Why Do Fools Fall in Love ). The EP made it to rank 65 on the Billboard charts. A little later, Gary Usher published with the Hondells a new version of Little Honda, this reached rank 8, and showed the hit quality of this song on.
