Agents of the Night (Original Title: All through the Night ) is an American spy film with Humphrey Bogart in the lead role. The film premiered on December 2, 1941.
Action
The old Baker Miller is murdered by a sinister stranger. Gloves Donahue, boss of a group of professional players, find a trace of the nightclub singer Leda Hamilton, who comes from Germany. She is kidnapped shortly thereafter. Donahue can feel it on the Auction House by Ebbing. The company turns out to be front company of Nazis plotting acts of sabotage.
Criticism
" Sometimes erratic staged espionage and spy movie after the clumsy propaganda scheme of Hollywood, with defined roles on rogue German emigrants ( Veidt, Lorre ), and a brilliant acting Humphrey Bogart in the lead role. "
