Alla Cherkasova

Alla Tscherkasowa (born 5 May 1989) is a Ukrainian wrestler. It is medalist at World and European Championships.

Career

Alla Tscherkasowa began as a teenager in 2003 with the rings. She is a member of the sports club Kolos Lvov and is trained by Andrei Pistun since 2004. The 1.78 meters wide athlete is a physical education teacher.

Her international Ringer career began in 2008. This year she won at the Junior World Championships in Istanbul in the weight category to 59 kg of body weight after a defeat in the semi-final against Anastasija Bratschikowa from Russia and a win over Aishan Ismagulowsa from Azerbaijan to 3rd place. In the same year she was already used in the Women's World Cup in Tokyo, where she won but in the weight category to 59 kg after a win over Ludmilla Christea from Romania and a defeat against Elvira Mursalowa from Azerbaijan only the 10th Place.

2010 won Alla Tscherkasowa in Nanjing / China in the weight class up to 67 kg, a heavily occupied World Cup tournament before Odonchimeg Badrach from Mongolia, Qui Xiaoqing, China and Mami Shinkai, Japan. It was then used in this weight class at the World Championships in Moscow, where she worked with victories over Kristie Marano ( Davis), USA, Chen Ying, China, and Natalja Semenzowa from Azerbaijan with a defeat in the semi-final against Jelena Schalygina, Kazakhstan, the World Cup bronze medal.

After a year's break in international championships she was back in March 2012 at the European Championships in Belgrade at the start and reached there with wins over July Bartnowskaja, Russia and Natalia Semnzowa the final. In this they defeated the Swedish Henna Johansson and thus became vice - European champion.
