Allan Moore

Allan Moore ( born December 25, 1964 in Glasgow ) is a former Scottish footballer and current coach. He currently trains the Scottish second division side Greenock Morton.

Playing career

Allan Moore played in his youth at the Glasgow School Sports Possilpark YMCA. In 1983 he got his first job at the former Scottish second division side FC Dumbarton. Already after the first season of the club was relegated as a table runner-up in the Scottish Premier League on, but he could keep only one season and rose again. From 1986 to 1989, the midfielder played for Heart of Midlothian, but never grew out of a reserve player, which is why he went to FC St. Johnstone in 1989. There he rose again after just one season in the Premier League and played with the Saints until 1994 in this league. Then the club was relegated and Moore moved to Dunfermline Athletic. Three years later, the then third division side FC Livingston, which was founded only in 1995, the next station of the Scots. In this club but he was only reserve players, so I went a year later to the next club, the Airdrieonians FC. In the second division he remained for two years and played more than 50 league games. Then Allan Moore was still playing at various clubs, but for a maximum of one season and was due to his increased age also rarely used. Coaching career

Since 2002, Allan Moore has a contract with Stirling Albion. He first started out as a player-coach and still completed six games for the then fourth division, which should be the last of his playing career at the same time. Thus, the Scot had found a smooth transition to his time as a coach. At the end of the season 2003/ 04 he made with the team to move up to third league. Only three years later, Stirling was even possible promotion to the second division and Moore's success at the club continued. At the end of the 2007/08 season but his team then rose as Table again in the third league.
