Allard & Co was a British manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

The company Allard & Co Limited of Coventry, which established since 1891 bicycles, began in 1899 with the production of automobiles.

In 1902 came the merger with the Birmingham Motor Manufacturing and Supply Co Limited of Birmingham. The new company was called Rex Motor Manufacturing Co Limited.

Rolling stock

The first models were a tricycle that was similar to the De Dion -Bouton tricycle, and the Express, which resembled the then- Benz. There was a single-cylinder engine with 500 cc displacement used. From 1900 the model Charette was prepared for International Motor Car. Last model was the 9 hp of 1902.
