All Saints in Muerztal until the end of 2014 a municipality with 1947 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the judicial district Miirzzuschlag and in the political district of Bruck - Miirzzuschlag in the Austrian province of Styria. As part of the municipality of structural reform in Styria it is merged in 2015 with the community and the municipality Mürzhofen Kindberg, the new community will continue to bear the name of township Kindberg. This is based on the Styrian community structure reform law - StGsrG.

Geographical Location

Geography

All Saints is located about 14 km northeast of the regional capital of Bruck an der Mur and about 30 km southwest of Miirzzuschlag

Geology

The municipal area is a particularly interesting area in terms of the geological structure. From the greywacke zone to the crystalline and Devonkalk everything is there. On Eibeggsattel deposits have been found of magnesite. At the foot of the high shock tunnels are still available, where siderite was dismantled. An alabaster factory was still in operation until some decades ago in precious village.

History

All Saints was founded by the Slavs, followed by the Bavarians settled. It is believed that around 800 - 1000 AD a Stammhof has stood roughly where today stands the school. A deed of gift from the year 1065 refers to the " Hube to Sölsnitz ", which gave the Stubenberger the pen Admont. The first mention occurs in 1154 The church in the village chapels is dedicated to all the saints -. Therefore "All Saints Day ".
