History
Allersberg was first mentioned in 1254 as a parish center. In 1323 it was given by Louis the Bavarian market rights, which was expanded in 1354 by Emperor Charles IV. Until 1475 the gender of the Wolfsteiner sat in Allersberg that there also the first hospital founded in 1339. Then the Bishopric of Eichstätt Ludwig Herzog enfeoffed the rich with Allersberg, which led to Bavaria -Landshut.
Allersberg was before 1800 and belonged to Pflegamt 1777 in Bavaria Wittelsbach -down Duchy of Neuburg -Sulzbach. Allersberg had market rights with magisterial own rights. From 1689 to 2006 the seat of the company Jacob Gilardi, the oldest manufacturer Leonean goods in Germany.
In April 1945 Allersberg has been the focus of fighting with American troops, which meant that Allersberg itself was heavily damaged.
Incorporations
On 1 July 1971, the formerly independent communities Altenfelden and Göggelsbuch were incorporated. On 1 January 1972 was followed by Eben Ried and parts of the municipalities Brunnau and Lampersdorf. Parts of the territory of Birkach were added on 1 May 1973.

In the area of the market were 1970 6236, 1987, 6898 and 2000 counted 7883 inhabitants in the year. On 31 December 2010 the population of the parish was 8024.

Nature
Approximately 2.5 kilometers southeast of Allersberg the Rothsee is with the two nature reserves storage root of red lake and north-western shore of Lake Roth main lock.

Since December 2006, the new station Allersberg is approached at the high-speed line Nuremberg -Ingolstadt- Munich. After Nuremberg is largely a one-hour clock with a journey time of around 15 minutes. The Allersberg Express runs this non-stop between the main station of Nuremberg and Allersberg. Direction Ingolstadt / Munich also is a two- hourly connection with the Munich -Nuremberg Express with a journey time of around 90 minutes. Next to the station and the Göggelsbuch tunnel is in the range of the community.
The Allersberg will also be served by bus lines of the VGN. Previously Allersberg was the end point of the branch line Burgthann - Allersberg.
