Alleyras

Alleyras is a municipality with 171 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in France, in the Haute- Loire in the Auvergne region. It belongs to Arrondissement Le Puy -en -Velay, the community association Pays de Cayres et Pradelles as well as to the two cantons Cayres and Saugues. The nucleus is part of the canton Ceyres, for Canton Saugues is one of the district Vabres, which was incorporated in 1965 Alleyras.

Geography

The municipality is located in the valley of the Allier, about 170 kilometers southwest of Lyon. The Cevennenbahn between Clermont -Ferrand and Nîmes has a breakpoint in place.
