Alligator Lake Volcanic Complex

Alligator Lake Volcanic Complex is a group of basaltic craters and lava flows in Yukon, Canada.

The highest elevation of the volcanic field is 2,217 meters. The upper part of the volcanic complex is formed by two well-preserved cinder cones, the most prominent of them is the Ibex Mountain cone with a height of 1675 meters. The risks posed by these two cones lava flows extend to 6 kilometers to the north. The Alligator Lake Volcanic Complex is named after the nearby near Alligator Lake.
