Allison Crowe

Allison Louise Crowe ( born November 16, 1981 in Nanaimo, British Columbia) is a Canadian singer and songwriter who gained by their cover version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah worldwide recognition. Crowe in 2003, founded their own label, Rubenesque Records Ltd.. , After they had rejected the contract with a major label. All original compositions she published under a Creative Commons license at Jamendo and Bandcamp.

In 2011 she acted as patron of the Free! Music! Contest of the music pirates eV and put individual tracks their song spiral remixes available.
