Allstate was founded in 1931 as part of the company Sears, Roebuck and Company ( Sears ). 1952 and 1953, the company used the name Sears Allstate for a brand of vehicles Allstate Automobile. 1993, the company Allstate went public in 1995 and sold his shares Sears.
