Allusion

The Allusion (Latin alludere: [ something ] allude, [ something ] suggest ) refers to a use of expressions that does not compare directly, but indirectly ( suggestively ) an action with an analogous case from history or literature.

In music, the term is often used for allusions, which, although no direct quotes or other music composers, but cause clear associations with another plant or the like.
