Alluwamna

Alluwamna was a Hittite Great King, who ruled after the middle chronology at the turn of the 16th v. 15th century BC.

Alluwamna was the son of the Great King Telipinu and was appointed by the latter to his successor. The circumstances of the succession are uncertain. Probably Tahurwaili had usurped the throne after the death Telipinus and was later overthrown by Alluwamna. However, Alluwamna could first become king and have been eliminated from Tahurwaili. Otherwise nothing about Alluwamna is known.

After a certificate his son Hantili II was after him Great King.
