Almanzora River

The Almanzora is an approximately 105 km long river in the province of Almeria in southeastern Spain. It rises on the north side of the Sierra de los Filabres to about 1900 meters. Then he initially flows to Alcóntar north. Then he changes his course to the east, which it maintains to its mouth in the Mediterranean Sea at Palomares. During Roman times the river was called Surbo.
